The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

WHAT BETTORS NEED TO KNOW

Middle Tennessee St. at Arkansas State (+1.5, 57.5), 7 p.m.

It wasn’t pretty the last time Middle Tennessee showed up on Tuesday night football. Troy hammered the Blue Raiders 42-13 on Oct. 5.

Middle Tennessee (3-4, 2-1 Sun Belt) is expected to perform better this Tuesday, when the Blue Raiders head to Arkansas State (3-5, 3-2 Sun Belt) hoping to stay alive in the conference race.

Blue Raider senior quarterback Dwight Dasher was making his first start of the season in the loss to Troy. Dasher was suspended the first four games of the season after allegedly accepting a $1,500 loan from an Air Force veteran to play poker. Dasher was rusty against Troy and the following week in a loss to Georgia Tech. But the talented dual-threat quarterback, who was the conference’s preseason offensive player of the year, is coming off his best game of the season in a 38-10 win over Louisiana-Monroe.

Dasher threw four touchdown passes in the Blue Raiders’ 38-14 win over Arkansas State last season. Middle Tennessee outgained the Red Wolves 427-220 in the win.

Arkansas State is much more explosive on offense this year. The Red Wolves are coming off a 37-16 whipping of Florida Atlantic. They feature a potent passing attack, led by quarterback Ryan Alpin. The sophomore already has thrown for 2,000 yards with 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Alpin and the offense will need to have a big night to make up for a porous defense. The Red Wolves are ranked 116th in the nation in total defense.

Turnovers, as always, will be a key, and that’s an advantage for the Red Wolves. Middle Tennessee is last in the nation in turnover margin. The Blue Raiders have turned it over 21 times, while collecting only seven turnovers.

The Blue Raiders have won seven straight games in November.

The line

Middle Tennessee opened as a 1.5-point road favorite. You could find it at -1 at some outlets Monday night, but most books still have the Blue Raiders as 1.5-point favorite.

The Blue Raiders are 6-1 ATS as road favorites under coach Rick Stockstill. The Red Wolves are 8-5 ATS as a home underdog under coach Steve Roberts.

The favorite has covered in the last seven meetings

The total

The total opened at 57.5 on Monday night and was immediately bet up to 58.5.

Rain is forecast throughout the day in Jonesboro, Ark., with breezy, cool conditions expected at night.

Arkansas State is averaging 28.88 and surrendering 30.38 points per game. Middle Tennessee is averaging 27 and allowing 27 points per game.

The last three meetings between the two teams have averaged 42.6 points.

The under is 21-10-1 in Arkansas State’s last 32 games.

Injuries

Middle Tennessee senior starting offensive tackle Mike Williams is out for at least the first half of Tuesday’s game, after being ejected from the Louisiana-Monroe game.

Arkansas State is reporting no significant injuries.

PICK N ROLL

Minnesota Timberwolves at Miami Heat (-16, 192)

When LeBron James finally unveiled The Decision and he and Chris Bosh joined Dwyane Wade in Miami, everybody was thinking about no-look passes and 360 dunks. Not defense.

But Miami heads into its fifth game of the year having played under the total in each of their first four games, holding the club’s opposition to 80.8 points per game on 38.9 percent shooting from the floor.

"Right now the most important thing is the guys understand, one, our identity is the defensive side of the floor," Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra said. "Secondly, get to know each other what we're trying to do offensively. That will take some time."

Minnesota isn’t what you’d consider an offensive juggernaut. The Timberwolves have been held under 80 points in two of their three games this season.

This game opened with Miami favored by 17 with the total at 193.5, but both have come down since.

Pick: Under

Philadelphia 76ers at Washington Wizards

This is a head-to-head matchup of No. 1 and No. 2 overall draft picks John Wall and Evan Turner, both of whom are being counted on to their respective franchises on the right track.

Wall has started both games this year and is playing 38.5 minutes per game while Turner is coming off the bench playing close to 28 minutes a game.
Wall scored 28 points and had 10 of those in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s 99-95 loss to Atlanta as 9-point underdogs.

"He's worked a lot on his shot and it paid off," coach Flip Saunders told reporters. "He made a couple shots and got his confidence going. He had overall a pretty nice floor game and made a lot of improvements from Game 1 [when he shot 6 of 19 from the floor]."

Expect some points on the board in this one. Washington is allowing 105.5 points per night while Philadelphia checks in at 100 per game.

ICE PICKS

Vancouver Canucks at Edmonton Oilers (135, 5.5)

The Vancouver Canucks are in serious need of a boost to get them going on the road. That’s what Alex Burrows’ return to the lineup should do for them Tuesday night.

Burrows had major shoulder surgery in the offseason after leading the Canucks with 35 goals, despite reporting problems with the shoulder as early as last February.

“It's been a long time since I played a game [May 11] so obviously I'm really looking forward to it,” Burrows told reporters Monday. “I haven't been involved in any kind of game or scrimmage, or that kind of stuff, in a long time. It will be pretty nice to get back in the lineup and try to help the team win.”

The Canucks head into Tuesday’s game 0-3-1 away from the Rogers Arena and have been outscored 15-7 on the road so Burrows’ addition to the lineup will be welcomed. However, there still isn’t any word as to who he’ll be skating with, though you couldn’t rule out him sliding alongside the Sedin twins where he did most of his damage over the last two years.

Pick: Canucks

San Jose Sharks at Minnesota Wild (120, 5.5)

The Minnesota Wild are still livid about a hit Los Angeles Kings forward Dustin Brown delivered on Antti Miettinen last Monday. Brown was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct, but the league decided not to discipline him further. Meanwhile, Miettinen hasn’t played since while he deals with a concussion symptoms.

The Wild could use him too. He had 20 goals and 60 points last season and had two goals and four assists in eight games leading up to the hit.

Minnesota may also be without forward Guillaume Latendresse and defenseman Cam Barker. Both have groin injuries and are listed as questionable. Latendresse has missed the last two games while Barker has sat out three straight.

Pick: Sharks

SOCCER SELECTIONS

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR (pick -115; 2.5 goals ov-115) vs INTER MILAN

Inter beat Genoa 1-0 away on Friday; Spurs lost 2-0 away to Manchester United on Saturday. Inter beat Spurs 4-3 at the San Siro on Oct. 20.

The match two weeks ago between these teams was a wild one. Inter Milan was up 4-0 and up a man at the half before Gareth Bale notched a hat-trick to make the final score respectable.

Over goals is the play here, largely based on Spurs’ and Bale’s swashbuckling style. Spurs were second-best on Saturday at Old Trafford, but they came out attacking. They’ve not beaten MU away since 1989, but showed themselves to be fearless.

Totty won’t be afraid of Inter, either, given the second-half fight in the earlier game. Picking a winner is a toss-up but this game should easily be good for three or four goals with Spurs coming forward in waves and leaving plenty of holes in the back for Inter to exploit.

Rafael van der Vaart and Tom Huddlestone are good to go for Spurs after training Monday. First choice goalkeeper Huurelho Gomes is suspended. First choice Inter keeper Julio Cesar and defensive midfielder Esteban Cambiasso are each doubtful with hamstring injuries—all the better to bet over goals.

Pick: Spurs 2, Inter 2.

BURSASPOR vs. MANCHESTER UNITED (-0.5, -125; 2.5 goals un-135)

Bursaspor drew Fenerbahce 1-1 on Friday; MU beat Spurs 2-0 on Saturday. MU edged Bursaspor 1-0 at Old Trafford on October 20.

The price is juicier than it might be on MU as manager Sir Alex Ferguson has decided to leave centre-back Rio Ferdinand home to rest. MU won’t need him: Bursaspor managed only one attempt on target when these teams played two weeks ago, and only had 40 percent possession of the ball.

MU is a better side and the players actually on display will want to ensure passage to the next round with an emphatic win. I don’t know that it’ll be emphatic, but it’ll be enough.

One other reason this game isn’t a full-goal’s spread is that there is some sort of mystique about teams travelling to play in big, bad Turkey. The generic Turk extra home field advantage, however, is an idea that’s five years past its sell date.

Wayne Rooney(ankle) and Ryan Giggs (hamstring) remain sidelined for MU. The travelers still have plenty of firepower, however, with Dimitar Berbatov and Chicarito locked and loaded up front, Park Ji-Sung and Nani eager to support, and Scholes and Carrick ready to win balls.

Pick: Bursaspor 0, MU 2.

Tuesday's winner...
400-Unit NBA Early Season E-Z Winner - NEW YORK KNICKS

New York struggled with Orlando last season and got slaughtered three times. The main reason is Orlando center Dwight Howard was able to do whatever he wanted in the middle. And when the Knicks would try to double down on him, the Magic sank uncontested three-pointers. With the addition of Amare Stoudemire, Howard isn’t going to be so free to do what he wants now. That’s why I’m going to grab the points and play New York in the first meeting between these two this year.

Stoudemire is 11-1 in his career against Orlando and he’s put up four straight double-doubles against the Magic, averaging 23.3 points and 12 rebounds when going head-to-head with Howard. Also look for big contributions from young Wilson Chandler who posted 22 points and 16 rebounds in the home-opener for the Knicks on Saturday, losing 100-95 to the Blazers.

We all know about Orlando’s last game, that 96-70 loss in Miami on Friday night when they shot just 30 percent from the floor and 16.7 percent from the three-point line and turned the ball over 16 times. Of course coach Stan Van Gundy decided to have an intense practice after that game, looking to improve the outside shooting that has them at 25 percent for three-pointers this season.

Shooting like that gives the Knicks a real chance to win this one, and will definitely get them the cover.

New York is on ATS surges of 4-1-1 as a home ‘dog of 5 to 10 ½ points, 16-5 on Tuesdays, 3-1-1 at home and 3-1-1 overall.

Stoudemire gives them the inside presence to contain Howard tonight. Go ahead and grab the points and play the Knicks.
